Trade Orders

All of our diplomats are going to go forth across the world to proclaim our new democratization policy and seeking trade concessions from our fellow democracies (for their own good of course).

Diplomat A/Patrice Clavet=Belgium

Clavet will head for Brussels to meet with Belgian representatives. He will inform them of our new policy of democratization and how as a fellow representative government, our closest neighbor and the ethnic affinity between our nations, we feel a special bond with them.

He will also point out the extensive trade connections between our nations and restate France's respect for and readiness to defend Belgium's neutrality. He will then ask for concessions, because trade is good and by increasing our trade in this way, in the long run they will surely benefit. If they have need of food, coal or metal we have some available to sell for less than world market prices. Also if it doesn't violate their neutrality (you said no military stuff, but this is more a sale) we are willing to sell them some of our ships due to be retired.

Press hard for the concessions, he has a 4 dip and 5 trade, plus the support of our democratization perk.

Diplomat B/ Léo Feuillette = Paraguay

Feuillette will head for Asunction. Sing the praises of our democratization policy, as a fellow democracy we love them yada yada. Make our standard offer to sell food, metal or coal.

Go on to convince them of the benefits of trade and how giving us concessions will definitely help them in the long run. Also point out how as a land locked country they are not at risk of domination by us, but they might be at risk of domination by their neighbors. If they grant us a large number of concessions we would even be willing to push Argentina for a free trade pact to let their ships travel at a low rate through the river.

Push hard on this especially getting concessions now his skills are 6 dip, 3 trade.

Diplomat C/ Quentin Thibodeau = Greece

Thiboudeau will head to Athens to meet with Greek officials. He will let them know about our new democratization policy and how as the birthplace of democracy we see Greece as an inspiration and a key friend.

He will then suggest that we increase our trade relations, if they have need of food, metal or coal we can sell them to them. We are also willing to sell them some of our ships due to be retired if they are interested. Also as we are both democracies who support trade they should give us some trade concessions.

If they grant us a significant number of trade concessions (4 or more) we would be willing to lobby the other powers on behalf of unifying Crete with mainland Greece.

Press hard for the concessions, he has a 3 dip and a 4 trade.

Diplomat D/Jean Pierre Raffarin = Bolivia

Raffarin will head for La Paz. There he will meet with Bolivian leaders sing the praises of our democratization policy and how we ought to be friends because of it etc. He will make our standard trade offer.

He will also convince them how giving us trade concessions is a smart move in the long run. Not only are we both democracies but as a landlocked nation they have nothing to fear from us, but gaining a friend in Europe could help keep their neighbors at bay.

As a sign of our goodwill we are willing to discuss the issue of their lost province with Argentina and Chile, to make sure they don't take advantage of the current situation to damage Bolivia further. We will also (with Bolivia's opinion) propose to Chile that they allow us to build a railroad between Arica and La Paz in order to enhance the Bolivian economy. Raffarin should urge them to show us some goodwill also by granting us significant trade concessions.

He has 3 dip, 3 trade, push hard for concessions.

Diplomat E/Arnaud Villejoin =Switzerland

Villejon will travel to Bern to meet with the Swiss leaders. There he will sing the praises of our new democratization policy and explain how as a fellow representative government and neighbor, it seems natural for our nations to enjoy a warm relationship and increase our trade relations. He will also express our continued support for Swiss neutrality and willingness to defend it.

He will then suggest our nations increase their trade relations, make our standard offer to sell resources and ask for concessions since we are such good friends and oh so similar.

Press hard for the concessions, he has a dip 2 and a trade 5.

Standard NPC trade offer, these prices will be offered to all of the above nations (except possibly the ship part to Belgium if it violates their neutrality and I suppose the land locked nations wont have much use for ships either.) For Belgium or Switzerland, I assume no shipping is needed since we are connected by rails.

Prices offered to these NPCs

Metal: .98 if we provide the shipping/.73 if they take care of shipping.

Coal: .48 if we provide the shipping/.45 if they care of shipping

Food: .48 if we provide the shipping/.38 if they take care of shipping.

Ship prices start at :

Second Class battleships 8 million

Obsolete Cruisers 4 million

Gunships 1 million.

These prices are negotiable and we give discounts the more they buy, if they are interested they should feel free to make an offer.
